Unfortunately,, I was at the game. My main takeaway is that the offensive line was horrific. I kept mentioning this to the guy next to me. On just about every pass, Sam was throwing off his back foot. Of course he couldn’t throw downfield. There was no time. Ironically, the only time that he was able to step into the throw, he overthrew Anderson just after he underthrew him. I have always believed that the QB that has more time will win 90% of the games. The other issue was that Buffalo receivers were wide open, especially in the second half. It always seemed that there was a huge gap between the linebackers and the defensive backs. Roberts was pathetic on the winning touchdown. Yes, we would have won anyway with even a below average kicker, but the issues on the offensive line and in the secondary will be problematic all year, I’m afraid.
On on a separate note, I was astounded at how many empty seats there were and at how many Bills fans were there. Disgusting.
