Best part of this game is our defense is pretty legit - I mean after all this and it is still a 2 TD game lol - if we had any offense we could actually win

Our safeties suck. Both of them were wasted picks.
I guess you are expecting Ed Reed and Ronnie Lott huh? Guys like that come along once in a generation just like Deion Sanders or Darrell Revis or Tom Brady or Joe Montana. Adams is always around the ball even if he isn't making a play on it. I don't think I've ever seen him miss a tackle. Of course I could be wrong about that but I don't remember seeing him miss one. This makes him a a premiere player in the league. Not Ed Reed or Ronnie Lott but a premiere player nonetheless.

He always makes a big hit because he is almost always late. And I'm saying he is overrated because people talk about him like he is Reed. He is an average safety with a big mouth. They brought Mosley because the defense needed a leader.

Can't agree this time my friend. Considering they have to play both corner, because we have no decent corners, and safety they do a pretty good job. With decent corners and all the starters this defense would be very good. It's the offense that still sucks and it starts where I've always said it starts,.......LT. I've said it before many times as you will recall.............off the field Beachum is great but as a LT he just doesn't cut it. He can't stop any player with talent and he frequently gets called for holding or hands to the face. He had at least 3 penalties this game and gave up 3 sacks. Adding Osemele wasn't enough. I can see it helped but overall this "O" line is just weak, weak, weak.
Well our defense in the 3 years with them has not gotten any better. They have not made any positive impact. Maye might be better than Adams actually. If we don't trade Adams now we will regret it when we pay him a big contract. His one thing he brought was leadership, but the Jets brought in his replacement in Mosley. Trade him for a 1st or get a LT or CB in return. One scenario would be to trade him to the Cowboys for Byron Jones. The other would be to trade him to the Redskins for Trent Williams. Both of those players I would rather have than Adams.
I see you're trying to sway me by offering me that LT that you know I want but I still don't think we should trade Adams. Even if he's not great he is solid and it's one of the few positions that we don't need to address when we have so many other glaring needs.
Its also one fo the least impactful positions. Drafting two safeties was a truly Mac move.
TCT, you really can get over the top with your analogies and it gets annoying. Now I know that you don't care about that and I'm not trying to start a website war with you but DAMN man, RELAX! Both our safeties are better then average and Adams is an elite one. No he's not a playmaking turnover machine but he's only 23-24 years old. He may grow into that. What he is, is a tackling machine and playmaker in other ways. He's always around the ball and he's a leader for that team. That's something that's hard to come by. Maye when healthy is more of an playing turnover type safety. He's an excellent cover safety as well. Not ever player any GM or coach drafts is going to be all world, no matter what round they draft them in. Our safeties are no where near the issue, our corners are and trading either one away our safeties (especially Adams) would not be a smart move.
oh, mark my words he'll be running up the score. And like the movie, The Longest Yard, once he has a big enough lead he will be inflicting as much punishment on our guys as possible. this will be a shutout and they may score every time they have the ball. could be a high score record for sure
