I am pretty sure you can only ust S-T IR designation for one player per season. Don't know much about NFL, but my guess is Geno will be on active roster until he is ready to go. Whether he plays or not depends on Fitz.

Why not the NON FOOTBALL RELATED INJURY list I posted above?

Getting your jaw broken in a locker-room brawl is not a football related injury.

Maybe, maybe not. Like I said, I don;t know much about NFI and if it is applicable to Geno's situation. You may be right, we should know a lot more by this time tomorrow.

I'm not gonna be happy if we cut Walter Powell. IMO he's easily the best return man on the team, and that alone makes him a valuable backend WR on the depth chart. Ideally those guys are significant contributors on specials.

There's no reason to cut him this week, he's on a one week suspension and doesn't count against the 53. Next week is when he needs to worry. Are we going to cut someone to bring him back? We'll find out next week.

But we don't have to make that decision now, might as well hang onto him in case of injuries.

The Dirty Dozen takes another hit

IMO Dee Milliner's injury saved Dexter McDougle's job, FOR NOW, but he better show a lot of improvement before Milliner is activated, otherwise he could be the corresponding cut, he's been awful.

Anyway, if not for Milliner's injury I think he would be another member of the Dirty Dozen packing his bags today.

I expected Shaq to be cut, but if we cut Powell, we are cutting our best return man.

That guy should be on the team and returning ALL Punts and Kicks.
