Sounds like we could be without Kearse (Abdomen) Martin (Concussion), and Maye (foot).
Jets S Marcus Maye may not be able to take the field on Monday night in Detroit, as he was once again a non-participant in practice on Friday.
Maye continues to nurse a foot injury that he says isn't related to ankle surgery that he received this offseason. Head coach Todd Bowles said the foot was "sore" on Thursday, but Friday he addressed who would take his place if he is deemed ineligible to play.
"(It's) between Doug Middleton and J.J. (Wilcox)," Bowles told reporters on Friday. "We will work with both and make a decision if he couldn't go."
Another player that may be out against the Lions is WR Jermaine Kearse, who is dealing with an abdomen injury. Bowles said "we've still got time" to see if Kearse will be game ready, and luckily the Jets get an extra day than the rest of the league. He was seen limited in practice on Thursday, and the same result made it into the injury report Friday.
Linebackers Jeremiah Attaochu (calf) and Avery Williamson (hamstring) were also limited, while LB Josh Martin was out with Maye as he deals with a concussion.

Hope I'm wrong!
After watching Ryan Fitzpatrick torch the Saints today for over 400 yards and 4 TD’s, I’m going to assume anything’s possible tomorrow night.
lets not be hasty..I think we all know that there will be growing pains with Darnold. That's a given. What I would like to see is some good coaching coming from Bowles and his staff. For the past three years I can't remember a game I thought the Jets out coached their opponent. Bowles just doesn't seem to have a feel for the game and rarely do I see adjustments in the second half that pass the eye test. We'll see if he's learned anything.
So true! I couldn't believe the numbers RF put up!

Without a pass rush elite QB's will eat you alive in this league Circa 2018, so I think the best we can do is hold Detroit to 31 and Darnold is still too raw to win a shootout on MNF on the road. He'll show flashes of brilliance, but not enough to win a Monday nite shootout on the road verses a veteran FQB with a cannon for an arm, verses an anemic pass rush.
HOPE I'M WRONG, I'd be thrilled to eat those words.
