I would throw some serious money at Dalton Schultz if he makes it to FA. We have a perfect recruiter in Zach…. They are both Morman, both from Utah. Trust me…. Mormons like to stick together. Lol

but a player like Fatukasi is a good quality run stuffer, team leader and high character player who should get a competitive deal... He could also take a hometown discount being from Far Rockaway...

Marcus Maye is all but out the door... No way they will pay him $18 M a year nor do they believe that $11.2 M Transition Tag is worth after his injury and off the field issue last year...

LaMarcus Joyner was hand picked guy from Saleh, so might open the door for him to return...
They might look for the younger version of the 49ers run game in Jeff Wilson Jr. making Tevin unlikely to return...
Conor McDermott has value on this roster even if they attempt to bring him back on the Covid reserve list or practice squad...

there are plenty of ways things can go nowadays but looking at certain players and their value after this year has changed...
would be stupid bringing back Jarrad Davis, no way we pay money which he will seek where a draft pick will give us future and more affordable...

Yep. I agree on Fatukasi. I have him as a keeper. I know they still want Maye, but also know they won't pay much for him so you are probably correct that he's a goner. I see Joyner as someone brought in primarily to help the young guys along and because of his injury that didn't quite happen so considering his age and durability I marked him as leaving. I think Teven will make the cut unless they can add a back that they are confident that will be better which is possible I admit. I also see McDermott possibly making the practice squad but not the active roster based on his age. I agree with you on Davis but I have a hunch the Jets don't see it that way and this is about what I think they will do and not necessarily what I would do.

Oh Davis is a dead man walking. We’re probably taking 2 LBers and with Quincy and Mosley and the 2 kids from last draft Davis is done.

This is correct. And I’m dead serious, Mormons like to stick together. I live in the center of the universe for Mormons, and they are a sticky bunch. Make Zach is roomie on the road, and they can read scriptures together lol. I highly doubt he could do that in Dallas.

I agree….. Davis was terrible. I wouldn’t be surprised if Maye returned on a 1 yr deal however. After the injury, and his age, I‘m not sure he is going to have a slew of suitors.

He was a solid player for us but that was an awful draft considering who was available vs who we took . I understand wanting to get Bowles his type of players but double dipping at safety had to be the dumbest thing ever

A fun one ??? ROFLMAO. Actually, in reality, the Mormons really take religion pretty seriously. They have to because of the whole tithing thing. It’s a bit of a clik in that they are always in competition with each other to be the best Mormon of the lot and try to save the rest of us . Not that that means a whole lot to anyone else……. And between Zach and Schultz, the church gets big bucks outta those two…..

I would be ecstatic about getting J.C. Jackson and Godwin in particular, but Jackson is likely to become the highest paid corner, and I am not sure JD will allocate that much cash in one direction (it hasn’t been his style)…

The New England Patriots surely aren't signing JC Jackson to a long-term extension based on the recent contracts cornerbacks have signed... That is the sentiment going on right now... Now the Patriots did break the bank last free agency period but does not mean they will open up the wallet for J.C.

if anything a player like Chase Lucas in the draft would be suffice to add to the corner room
