Welcome to reality! The irony is that many fellow members of the Jets fanbase think that we are very impatient supporters. For pure research purposes, I've been on 49ers, Bills, Packers forums (among a few others) a few times when these teams are good but are coming off a heartbreaking loss. You wouldn't even begin to imagine how bad the sky is falling: fire everyone, all the players suck and are not clutch, rebuild everything etc...
I humorously attribute people's sensitivity to criticism of the Jets to the self-righteous choice to air frustration at other fans as opposed to players or coaches when needed. Hell, given the long-lasting mediocrity in performance by this franchise, a lot of shrinks would even nominate us as one of the most composed (and masochistic, of course
) fanbases....
