Wish I could hang around to see what happens next, but I have a long day tomorrow that starts early.

Just remember as you post in this thread that Elias really is a very nice man.

I watched the Jets start 10-1 and collapse down the finish, since then it's been one game at time. The Eagles received lots of the hype but the Jets have better talent. Look for Stacee to step and make some plays in the passing game.

I believe he has a groin injury and may be limited. I'm confident Stacey and Powell will get production, I'm more concerned with who makes up for Decker.

I think Vegas expects the Jets to lose now. From being favored, -2.5 they are +2.5. Am I reading that right?

On paper we should win. We have the type of penetrating defense that should disrupt the Philly offense without even needing to blitz. And when we blitz Bradford is a china doll statue. On offense we should improve again even without Decker and Philly is without their best defensive player.

BUT

I just really worried we will have a big crash in this game. Short week, unlikely to get a bunch of turnovers again, Revis possibly out, Decker and Owusu out, Reilly out.

The big one for me is that decent teams very very rarely start 0-3. Teams know that their season is effectively over at 0-3 (only 3 teams ever made playoffs since current alignment) and Philly just cannot be as bad as they look can they?

Unlikely we go 16-0, but I think this team really needs to be 4-0 going into the bye. If we falter in the next couple of weeks things could go awry.

I am super excited about this team, and knew we would beat the massively overrated Luck, but just nail bitingly nervous about this one. Like not a close game nervous. Do not know why.

Johnny, I hear what ya saying. Your waiting for the roof to cave in. I honestly think most of us have that hiding in the back of our minds some where as we've all been let down from this franchise.

My way of thinking is this:

New Regime. New mind set. We're 2-0 by domination not by a fluke. There will be losses along the way, but IMHO, Bowles will have his team learn from those games more than what they did with Rex in a laid back style.

It's a long season. We're all on the edge of our seats wanted to state fully that this team is for real. It's a matter of time and being patient to see what Bowles is all about with a full body of work.

Lets just see how this plays out. One thing i know for sure is that your going to root the hardest on game day no matter what!

i'm a little nervous about the game too. our injury report is troublesome.

i can't shake the feeling like we're "due" for a loss and the eagles are "due" for a win... i know it's only three games in. it's just weird to be up two games after the past two seasons.

Remember that 10-1 start well. Was having a lot of fun! Injuries hit us big time as most know, what a shame. Anyways, I'm hoping the offense gets going and starts moving the chains. Offense needs to pick it up. Go JETS!

this is coach bowles first "trap game" so i'm very interested how the jets play in the first quarter.. if their focused & disciplined i don't believe philly will have a chance in hell!!

if their not, i would imagine it will be your typical NFL "the team that scores last wins" kinda game..

vegas line on the game not withstanding..

I'm not taking Philly lightly at all. I don't care what happened last week. Teams figure out adjustments and turn corners after bad games. Happens all the time.

I do believe that the Eagles o-line is weak, especially on the interior. And they have two starting ILB's out for this game. They're banged up, too. But this team has talent, and as they always say...

Weak line means Philly should be leaning heavily on quick screens and quick passes to sproles. It would be smart considering our age and lack of rest.

Don't expect the Rex Ryan type team that crashes and burns against teams their suppose to beat. Bowles will have this team well prepared. Not saying this will be a 40-3 win (although that would be nice). It might even be a hard fought game but the Jets will come out on top. Biggest problem is can the offense produce more then they did last week? I think their embarrassed by last weeks performance and will will do better. Despite all the injuries I say Jets win 30-13 in a comfortable win. 20-14 in a hard fought win.
