Tell you what, after what I saw from Bridgewater tonite, if the Jags want him for Fowler, they better not expect anything more.

This dude looks healthy and ready to ball again, and he's better than Bortles if he's healthy.

Kid had to throw THREE TD PASSES on that final drive before the half.

First one was dropped, second one called back on a BS Penalty (barely touched the DB), and the third one stuck.

Very impressive series for the neophyte.

I know it’s just preseason but WOW! Not only just preseason but the first game of preseason but WOW! Darnold looks like he’s the truth. They say you know it when you see it. Looks like we’re seeing it Jets fans!!!

Yesterday’s Giants vs. Browns game was very entertaining. Well the rookies were anyway. Both Browns and Giants fans should be very happy. Well I believe we Jets fans can now say the same. Darnold stays healthy and keeps progressing and it looks we have ourselves a keeper!!!

I'm down on Disney's Boardwalk taking a break from vacation watching our Jets look pretty darn good and drinking a Bourbon County Stout that I've been saving since black friday. Yeah it's preseason. Yeah it's only week 1 of preseason but we still look good which is way better than looking bad. Can't remember the last time I went into a season not worrying about what week we would actually score our first touchdown. This could be the first in a long time

I didn't see him, even after Sterling got hurt.

I didn't hear anything about an injury and he's been having a terrific camp.

Darnold rolls left on a play fake and throws a perfect strike. Nice. 1st down. I can get used to that.

That play solidifies or should what type of QB we have. Not a easy play to execute and easy pass to complete. He throw between three defenders and completed it with ease. Here’s something that caught my eye. They played him the entire second half. I didn’t think they were going to do that. I wasn’t quite sure they would play him in the second half at all. I figured they let him finish on that high note on the half time TD.

The NFL Network half time commentators were talking about that. Seems to me they are giving this kid every opportunity to show he should be the starter. They didn’t want to just let him finish the half on a high note. No, go out there and show us you can finish the game playing with players who won’t even be on the team this year. I take that as even more a vote of confidence. They believe he could do it and just wanted to see him do it and continue on that high note.

first half defense was sharp and brought the right intensity, it was steady and effective...

all three quarterbacks had a good outing, the best part was the run game with Powell as the starter... Cannon got a workload and was impressive, his weakness is punt returns but for never doing it he needs those live reps to get a better handle on it... they are going to keep him on the active 53, at least until Elijah McGuire is back and maybe even after...

I think we finally have the right combo in the backfield by adding Crowell to Powell and have that home run threat in Cannon, if and when McGuire comes back he will bring another dimension...

Charles Johnson had a strong outing as well, looks like he is going to push some of the other receivers for that third, fourth or fifth spots... At this point, Ardarius Stewart is on the outside looking in, he looked lost out there... After RA, and Kearse we hope Enunwa is the third... Do we keep five or six will hope that Hansen is one of those along with Pryor and/or Charles Johnson...

Also if Sterling didn't get hurt too bad and can get healthy by week one or two, he's making this team. He looked terrific before he got hurt.

However if he's not healthy, he'll have to start the season on the short term IR/PUP

I read Herndon was banged up a little bit in the last practice. And Pryor isn’t quite 100% yet. Enunwa’s hand injury is minor. All three didn’t play and will be back soon.

Imagine what Darnold will do behind the first string o-line and those three players in the game?

I loved what I saw in Crowell. That TD catch and run was straight power. Too bad be got hurt. He and Sterling were looking good before they left. I think the Jets have a ton of weapons on offense to choose from.
