OJ Howard is the consensus pick

I just looked at a number of the most reputable final mock drafts and OJ Howard is the consensus pick for the Jets if they stay at 6

I don't know what that means, the only opinion that matters is Mac's, but Howard is the consensus pick.

With Jets it wouldnt surprise me at all. Past we took Coples-Milner-Pryor on Defense & Sanchez & TE Dustin Keller on Offense...lmao Last TE Jets took was great wasnt he & at 6th Howard must be a HOF TE.

It just makes too much sense not to do it, Ham? He's debatably the BPA at 6 and he fills a massive need for the Jets. How long has it been since they had an actual real live legitimate TE? Dustin Keller certainly wasn't. Anthony Becht sucked. I want to say Eric Green for a VERY short time in what 1999?!

As much as I'd like to see Mac trade down, he may not be able to get anything done considering this draft is so talented. So unless he can trade down, I would love to take OJ Howard....

Lets be real, Lee was not the BPA in last years Draft. It filled a need that type player for our coaches style of Defense. At 6 I don't want a DL, QB, or injury prone player. All said and done, I hope if available its either Adams (he should be gone), Fournette, OJ Howard, a trade down.

Now that we have an OC and system that will actually use a TE, it would change things. And with both Howard and Enunwa running patterns, it would give a young QB two big targets to find.

Would love to have Howard. He seems to be a sure fire game changer and health provided, furture HOFer. My list would go as is:

1. L. Fournette
2. O.J. Howard or M. Williams (either way)
3. C. Davis
4. D. Cook

I'd be fine with Howard. Would like Hooker too, but injury concerns might be a factor with him.
