Because the Jets stink. They are no fun. They are not a team you can get behind plus it has been 53 years of this...……….. There is not one player I like on this team...not one......

How I feel, too. Frankly, the roster changes so much from year to year that I have no idea who half of them are.
We should let the cheerleaders play...at least we could watch something good
I forget the writer's name but he was spot on when he said, "the Jets are as deep as a child's pool". They finally had some success last week protecting Darnold but an injury or 2 and this week they start a rookie at left tackle. I'm not blaming Edoga as he seems to have a future with this team but over all the OL is a disaster.
And yet, GM after GM has not made this a priority to fix. But let's draft another box safety.
I can honestly say that I've never seen a Jets team like this. IMO it's not a problem of talent right now, we have NFL talent on the roster we just can't seem to put anything together and that's 1000% on coaching!
It's one thing to have weaknesses on a squad, but to have those weaknesses exploited every game, all game long and never adjust or figure out how to mask weaknesses and highlight strengths is just plain incompetence!
Gase has shown ZERO ability to coach guys up and to mask weaknesses. Throw on top of that the fact that he refuses to use the roster and just wears out the starters, I'm not seeing where all the genius is that Payton was talking about.

My opinion is that we have a very few guys who are UPPER ESCHELON NFL players (Bell, Mosley). The vast majority are mid-level guys who most would call JAGs. Then there is a too large number of players who only exist on bad teams like the Jets. The talent level on our team scares no one. And our coaches, "led" by Gase, are bottom of the barrel guys who very quickly show they suck and get fired.
I was going to write this ….Thanks.....look we tend to overrate players on the Jets & in NY. Even the 1962 Mets had some talent (Thomas & Ashburn) all teams do but players like Adams are not that great they are one trick ponies. Our Sumo wrestlers of a DL are good but not great. The D man is not a Franchise Qb yet. As of last night his qb rating was as low as it can go. Even Bell is not playing like he should Ok I will buy no blocking but still he is not playing like he was. Bottom line where is the talent on this team?

As for Adams? Look I think the kid can play. No doubt. But like you said, he's a one trick pony. He's there as our "box safety" and hitter. But God forbid he's asked to cover a receiver, especially a deep threat. Just not gonna happen.
I should add that because you win awards it does not make you great....look at Jeter winning gold gloves that he should never have won. & Ron hunt making the 1964 allstar team of Jones of AZ not winning awards.
And now a Ron Hunt reference?! Dude, you are on fire. lol
But you have gone too far with the Jeter did not deserve the Gold Glove awards. It's dueling pistols or dull sabres at dawn. Your call. lol
Early in his career he did (maybe) but the last three or four were just gifts.
