I was to young during the early to mid eighties with the sackexchange and stuff to worry about the types of defense and offense people were running, so besides the bears running the 4-6 what defense did the jets run with kleck,gast,powell?

The sack exchange was a four man front:

DE Mark Gastineau
DT Marty Lyons
DT Abdul Salaam
DE Joe Klecko

Klecko also played some DT, shortly after the sack exchange, and he made all-pro at both spots, one of the few players in NFL history to make all-pro at DE and DT. He was a great NT too when we played some 3-4.
