OLINE Fixed - Next Problem Up

CB Depth & Kicker
Our CB's behind the starters are scrubs. We need to add two descent backups. Preseason was a terrible showing for these guys.
Kicker was obvious as well.

Thoughts?

No doubt about it, the CB depth is scary. Parry Nickerson looked terrible. If one of the starters gets injured, we’re in trouble. I think TJ, Poole and Roberts is barely passable. Kyron Brown might be a decent depth player.

Douglas has got to keep his eyes wide open the next few weeks.

I agree that the oline is more then solid and CB and kicker is the biggest issues. Kicker I’m hoping won’t be that hard to solve but CB is another story. I don’t even trust TJ, Poole and Roberts. We need two guys that are better then these three to make this defense what it needs to be. Surely would be nice if two of the younger guys stepped up and did this but I highly doubt it. Seems to be quite abit of confidence in this K. Brown kid, so maybe he can and will step up. Problem is who will be the other one? The other rookie, Bless Austin has suffered two major injuries and may never see the field again.

Well, it might make you feel a little better that Trumaine Johnson is having a great camp, according to my Bleacher Report updates.

Being realistic here and using common sense, I realize that B. Austin and K. Brown will only be depth players. At least for right now and will Austin ever see the field period? So Johnson having a great camp is nice and hopefully the season turns out well but I’ll believe it when I see it.
