I agree with a few of these posters that TB would be my second choice next to JH. You need some talent to win as a HC.

Look Joe Torre was a rich teams MGR. He stunk on the Cards & Mets....I wonder why.

Sometimes Change does good for both sides. But if TB stays I am happy if he comes back to AZ I am happy.

Because managing in the National League is tougher than in the AL because the pitcher has to bat.
Anyone who saw Torre manage in the NL knows he didn't have what it takes to manage the complexities of NL baseball.
The New York press referred to him as "Clueless Joe".
Mariano Rivera added about 40 points to Torre's baseball I.Q.
