Open Letter To Jet Fans | Woody & Chris Have To Go!

In the past 52 years since they won super bowl 3 in 1969, the New York Jets fan base has been fucked in a myriad of ways by their team. From the butt fumble to the fake spike ,very few fan bases in professional sports have suffered more than Jets fans. Every year they get the same promises every year from ownership that things will be different and the culture will change. The culture always remains the same the coaches and players have come and gone but the problem still remain.

This is why the Johnsons need to step down or be forced out by jets fans for the good of organization here are steps fans need to take in order to make that possible. For a franchise that has had the calamitous history like the New York Jets last sunday's 54 to 13 humiliation might be one of its most calamitous. Yes, we could blame the usual suspects: Robert Saleh didn't have his team prepared Zach Wilson looked terrible again, yada yada yada ,and they all deserve the their share of blame but the one who's most responsible for this the one who's responsible for the culture that this team has been Woody Johnson.

The Johnsons will own the team until they die. Two trust-fund billionaires who have never accomplished anything on their own, the team is the only thing that gives them a visible presence in the media. If not for this ownership, they would be just two more faceless billionaire corporate figureheads. They love going to the owners meetings and other high-profile NFL events, their lives revolve around it.

The losing culture starts at the top, it starts with them. While the current gm and coach seem ok, it has yet to be seen what happens from here. The brothers have shown themselves to be terrible at assessing high-level candidates, and this is behind what we have seen for decades.

I wonder what the feeling is like in the room when Woody or Chris encounter Bob Kraft during one of the owner's events.

Wouldn't you love to see Woody walk up to Kraft and smack him in the face? (just a little daydream of mine)

Agreed. That's exactly why they need to go. They can't even run their own business successfully, see all the lawsuits and bad press they've gotten from their products causing cancer.

A lot of the problem comes from a lot of fans staying loyal to the product no matter how much of an embarrassment it is. The power comes from the fans, if everyone stopped buying then the product is worthless.

So we’re making decisions for the folks who have the money now. Here’s a suggestion. The NFL is comprised of a bunch of other teams .

Although Woody and his bro are a couple of balloon heads….unless they are tying JD‘s hands on cap money…. I don’t think they are the problem. There are more dysfunctional franchises than us….. namely the Jags, Browns, Washington, Detroit, Houston, Miami and the Giants. If broken into quarters, we are near the bottom of the 3rd quarter of teams. Shitty…..but not the worst

It all starts at the top. Don't get me wrong, Saleh and Douglas deserve their share of blame, but it starts and ends with the Johnsons.
