I understand that children are watching, but IMO the apology was totally unnecessary, the dude was caught on a hot mic only seconds after he broke a 37 year drought and won the Triple friggin' Crown, I think his reaction mirrored the rest of us, half of the viewing audience (including the kids) said WHOLLY SHIT, HE DID IT!!!
