Thanks, Sack. I was not at all impressed by Edoga last year. Your view?
He was a reach in the third. He seems to me to be the type of OL you draft in a late round and try to get him to develop in time. He certainly was not a day one starter.

Hard to disagree with any of that. However, I was listening to a college scout who was ranking players and he said that only two defensive players (Okudah and Simmons) are worthy of the #11 pick and neither will be available. To me there are two choices: one of the top 4 OTs; or trade down to the 20s and grab either Jackson, Jones or Cleveland. The trade down is very appealing particularly if it means an additional #2 or early
#3. Plus, the 3 OTs I mentioned are all high ceiling talents, yet perhaps not as polished as the top 4. With two #2s and two #3s we can fill some of the many holes on this roster.
I should have been more clear. They specifically said that Young is clearly the #1 defensive player in the draft, but that Jets had no chance of him dropping to #11. They only mentioned Simmons and Okudah because there was a remote chance they could be available, albeit very slim.Young is worthy of 11, so I'm not sure how anyone could say that.
