Rained in today. Flash flood overnight. Rained 3 inches in 3 hours. Have water a foot deep in Honolulu. Can't go to work, stuck 22 floors above the street.

Being in Honolulu during a tropical storm has to suck.

What really sucks is right now is the rain knocked out the elevator at Discovery bay. I had to walk back up 22 floors after I found out work had been cancelled.

Yeah, thanks. I was supposed to work 10 hours today. OT already got cancelled and it appears due to the flooding we'll be late for the regular 8 as well. But it's still wicked hot and humid, seemingly no relief coming anytime soon. El Nino is in full effect.
