It turns out Bryan Stork did not get cut by the New England Patriots.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, he actually was traded to the Washington Redskins for a conditional draft pick.
David Andrews will now be the teams starting center, but that most likely would have happened even if Stork was still on the team. The two had been splitting time at the position all camp, but it was Andrews getting the majority of snaps.
Inconsistency and injury problems plagued Stork with the Patriots. He had his fair share of concessions which kept him out which is uncontrollable, but he had also been kicked out of practice a couple of times this season for fighting. That certainly couldn't have played well for him.
Andrews was the teams starting center last season for the first nine weeks while Stork was out with injury and the Patriots went undefeated in that span.
