Not second guessing , because this was my thinking before the Gronk injury. Why do they play all out in a nothing game ? High volume targets to the best players on offense can only lead to bad things. What are they trying to prove?

They are playing for home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

Don't think they did anything wrong. Just unlucky. About time

That will be the issue the rest of the regular season. Why target your 2 best players so many times? Increased chance of injury, and.the one seed locked up. High risk , little reward

Broncos have 2 losses and a tough schedule . Even with a loss they are big favorites for the 1 seed

It's between the Pats and Bengals who I think have one loss.

We need to model our defense after Denver. They are hitting Brady

Both Gronk and Amendola have had a history of being brittle, albeit years ago . That will screw them with all those targets

IDK, this is the NFL, you can't start dialing back with 6 games left. That's how teams go on a multi game losing streak.

Every game has the same intensity level. A lot of coaches are even reluctant to rest players week 17 with the play off situation resolved. Afraid of losing the edge.

Noting wrong with the pats going to their best players to win the game.

Yes, true. I just think it will be inevitable, that they will suffer another season ending injury to Gronk or Amendola.

Rob Gronkowski's not expected to miss much time with knee injury
By Louis Bien  @louisbien on Nov 30, 2015, 11:17a 36

Gronkowski had to be carted off the field Sunday after going to the ground in significant pain, but he could be back next week.

Rob Gronkowski left Sunday's against the Denver Broncos late in the fourth quarter after suffering a knee injury. Trainers looked at him for several minutes on the field after he took a hit to his right knee from Darian Stewart while attempting to catch a pass. Gronkowski appeared to be in significant pain and had to be carted off the field.

Several NFL reporters tweeted after the game that Gronkowski's injury does not appear to be serious, and he might not even miss a game:

It would be an incredible relief to the New England Patriots if Gronkowski were to return in short order.

Gronkowski was in the midst of a very good game for the Patriots. He had six receptions for 88 yards and a score before leaving the game. He was ruled out shortly after leaving the field, and the Patriots fell in overtime for their first loss of the season.

The Patriots' receiving corps has been snakebitten in recent weeks. The Pats were already missing wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola, and running back Dion Lewis to short- or long-term injuries entering Sunday night. All three players were significant pieces in the Pats' offense.

None were bigger than Gronkowski, however, who topped Shannon Sharpe for the most career receiving touchdowns by a tight end on Sunday. He was on pace for a fourth All-Pro season with 57 receptions for 931 yards and nine touchdowns through 11 games.
