NFL betting sites ( for total wins ) have the Jets right were you guys put them .
7 wins for you to bet over or under that amount
This puts the Jets in the bottom 8 of the league .
Not to far from bottom 5 insanity .
Vegas is not insane nor dumb with numbers
stupidity of the betting public .
I get the pessimism. I’ve been a fan since Joe was drafted. I just think that our new Joe, Joe Douglas, has put us on the right path for future success. I don’t think that we will see the tangible results this year because no team can rebuild in one year, we have a totally new offensive line (thankfully) that will need time to get in sync, our schedule is brutal, and I have doubts that Gase is the right coach. Basically, I agree with Sack that we will be a much better team than last year’s version, but that the improvement might not show up in the record. We still have holes in the roster. I do think, however, that there is a chance that we will surprise people. I’m very happy with the off-season moves, including some of the undrafted free agents that we signed. On a separate note, maybe I’m naive, but I see the Patriots as a team that is mediocre at best this year.If they were mediocre the Jets would be in the mid pack
Let's see some other NFL future bets :
And this is what vegas thinks of the Jets not what the public perception is :
Super Bowl odds Jets 70-1 ( all 32 teams ) this puts Jets in bottom 5
AFC championship,33-1 Jets in bottom 3 AFC
Odds to win division 7-1 last in the division
Yes or no to make playoffs Jets +400 bottom 5 in the league
Yes once in a great while a team surprises and goes from last to 1st
Not this year

Because they are the Jets
O line worst in the league last couple years , so yes they now have the potential to be a very average line in 2020
The Ny Giants did this 2 years ago and it didn’t work, so who knows?
They need Logan Ryan with that the
Jets backend has more depth and competition than in 2019.
With the running game among the worst in the NFL a season ago. It
can only improve. But not because of Gore hopefully Bell bounces back to form and the rookie is a stand out .
Same with the WR group another ranked bottom of the NFL
I never was a fan of Robbie but it’s still a crap shoot depending on another rookie
I’d like to bring in an another vet , not to many around ,Taylor Gabriel??
TE blah
Kicking game can’t that get any worse ? ( seems like a theme )
Finally it all needs to be put together by Gase , ugh
You know how I feel about that .
All that said , nobody wants the Jets to succeed more than me really.
But I’m not seeing it
And I’m tired of saying
Oh let’s be mediocre this year and wait a couple more years
But that seems like it’s the only choice.
Or Gase gets canned and we get to start over again
Won’t that be fun

Logan Ryan wouldn't be that much of a boost from everything I've read and heard about him. Asa true corner he hasn't really excelled. His impressive stats last season came working the slot. We already have that covered. I'd rather they spend the money on Larry Warford.
if everything goes right - which, with the Jets, it never does.
In my opinion, we are still on the right track, even if Gase does get fired. We still will have much improved personnel, chosen by a GM who has a much better plan than we are used to seeing. The downside to firing Gase is that Sam seems to genuinely like Gase, and would have to learn a new system once again.guys. for the record, the cheatahs were mediocre at best last year with brady . they lost to most of the few decent teams that they played. usually they split with the few decent teams they play
the Jets will always be the Jets until they are not. when Parcells was here, he immediately made us good and even that ended in a freak injury to our qb in a year that we would have won the superbowl, followed by the death of our owner and the subsequent Parcells leaving, belichick shafting and the worst 20 straight years in Jet history. 20 Straight years of watching what should have been our coach, win every damn superbowl. the first few with many of our former players
Now Joe Douglas is here and appears to be doing the right thing, but our season really relies on Gase becoming the next great or at worst, very good coach. If Gase sucks, he gets fired and we start all over. or worse, he sucks and gets one more year, then he gets fired and we start all over
pessimists and optimists aside, that is the state of affairs this year
Hilarious
You harp on my self fulfilling claim " because they are the Jets "
Yet you make claims to the same
Blahahahahaha
I get it , My view of the Jets is the pessimistic anti Jet same ole rhetoric , but you have the right to play both sides
Keep trying
yes, I agree. we are on the right track with what Douglas has done. and because of Sam and learning a new system, thats why we have to root like crazy for Gase.In my opinion, we are still on the right track, even if Gase does get fired. There is a difference between saying the Jets don't catch the breaks - mono, injuries, going 10-6 and missing out on the playoffs, the ASJ fumble into the end zone against the Pats - and to say everything they do is wrong because they're the Jets. It's not playing both sides.
