Sounds absolutely reasonable to me GMF and I’m with on it but allow me to take it step further. I believe the stat line that you put up in the Jets @ Panthers game day thread was 65 snaps: Davis: 60, Moore: 57, Berrios: 37, Smith: 7, Mins: 3. I may be off a bit but I believe that’s around about what you had.
So the numbers may not exactly add up but let’s just say all the receivers all healthy and active, which would also includes Cole and Crowder. If they can actually have all seven receivers active on the roster then maybe the numbers can look like this with let’s say, 65 snaps of offense:
C. Davis: 45 (obvious reasons, he’s the #1, bell cow, most productive and most reliable WR)
Crowder: 30 (he is a key WR but strictly a slot guy)
Cole: 25 (same as Crowder pretty much but to a lesser degree)
Mims: 25 (he’ll get that time that Davis is off the field and maybe a few snaps with him)
Moore: 25 (with that horrible game one, the rookie has to prove his worth, use him on special teams also)
Berrios: 20 (gotta show him some love, plus he’s on special teams)
Smith: 5 (mop up duty, if he’s lucky enough to get that)
I believe these numbers are close enough to make a realistic set up and very productive game for Zach and the receivers. If they activate Yeboah then hopefully they can find away to get him about 20-25 snaps also.
