Look, Kaep is not an elite talent. he took his team to a Super Bowl but so did Trent Dilfer (I Know it was mostly the defense). What he is a distraction and a headache. No matter what the cause is no owner wants to deal with the distraction. If a team signed him, all reporters would do is ask him questions about his cause and focus on if he was kneeling or standing. All they would do is ask teammates about it or the coach about it. Oh by the way, we have a game this Sunday or we just played one an hour ago.
He has created a controversy that has gone all the way to the President. Ratings are taking a hit, viewership is at a low, most fans/Americans are turned off by this. Owners do not want to be hit in the pockets and neither does the NFL. If I was causing a distraction at my job I would be fired and no one would care about why or would I have a leg to stand on when it comes to suing for collusion. I was a distraction at my job, I didn't perform my job as well as I should. So I lost my job. Cut and dry. This has gone on long enough, we just found out that Kaep donated money to a foundation with the name of a cop killer at the head of it. Anyone from the tri-state area knows the story. I believe in his constitutional right to speak his mind and his views, even though I do not agree with them or his way of voicing them, but the owners have a right not to sign him. Case closed.
