Possible locker room issues because of Zach!

Not saying he doesn’t deserve a benching. He’s struggling and sometimes young players need a reset. Just like Saleh said. But the way the loudmouths in the media talk about this you’d think he was done with the Jets. Listen to Saleh, that couldn’t be further from the truth.

Everything has to be shock and awe with some people. It’s like they’re lives are defined by polar extremes. Some people need to calm down about this.

I will give you that! This is a very valid point! I’m personally hoping Zach recovers from this and becomes our guy but his leash is VERY SHORT with me now! His attitude and his post game comments determined that for me.

Let me put this another way, since I’m obviously coming across as a total Wilson apologist. How does bailing on Wilson right now, and resetting the QB position really help this team? With a great defense already in place, a good special teams unit, and some playmakers on the offense, what does firing Wilson and drafting another QB with a mid-late first do for this team? It’s another developmental QB situation that starts from ground zero. Meaning next season could be a throwaway year. Unless we’re thinking that some star QB breaks free in FA.

Is it exactly what Saleh said that Zach needs to refocus and the game plan is to get him back on the field sometime this year. Is it to strictly teach him a lesson that’s he’s not above the team, no matter how bad or good he is. Is it that they’re truly hoping M. White is the answer and they’re done with Zach regardless but don’t want to say. I don’t know but I don’t think we have a back up QB that will give them exactly what they’re looking for. If this is the case and I strongly believe it is, Zach will be on the field again this year! Hopefully he’s good by that point and we’ll be good to go.

This is ridiculous! What is there to defend here. Zach’s play has been horrendous and his attitude apparently has been even worse. What is there to defend! Come on Chris Simms, be better than that!

I have only heard once that Zach has had a horrible attitude. And that was from a poster here that admitted that he got his info from another message board. Yes his post game was not what anyone wanted to hear but let’s keep some reality in our posts please.

Forgive me, but how does any gain of the absence of post game humility going to improve his acquiring of split second decision making , passing accuracy and other skills necessary to be a successful N.F.L. quarterback? Sam Darnold was the template for acknowledging the ownership of a poor performance indicating the need to do better...once again showing the microscopic allowance the league has for the lack of trending upward immediately.

Just because that is not widely reported or spoken about doesn’t mean it isn’t true or not a reality. I’m not even sure who posted that but I don’t think they would have done it if they didn’t think there was some relevance or reality to the statement.
