yeah I am not a believer in Cousins either, at this point I don't know who to believe in but lets get 4 or 5 QBs on the roster and battle
cousins puts up pretty good numbers but he folds up like a cheap suit in money time.. maybe the light turns on with a change of scenery?? i'm reaching but like you said, who's out there to believe in anyway??

I have never been a Cousins fan and still am not. I agree lets bring in as many QBs as possible and let the best man win.

I have read several threads concerning who we should get to play QB, and no matter what QB it is, from Kirk Cousins to Mike Glennon to Mariota to Fitzpatrick to Winston to Foles to whoever! The responses are always negative!

I guess that's expected unless we are talking about getting Aaron Rodgers or the like.

Plenty of different opinions here at NYJF which is what makes it work

There are a lot of QB that would satisfy me. The only one on your list I would hate to see in green is Cousins. If it's one of the vets I would also want to draft a QB. If it's a draftee I would also want to sign a vet. I want 2 option along with Geno competing for the job.

I'd be happy with (in this order):

Bradford
Foles
Mariota
Winston

Even though I am down on Winston as a prospect due to maturity, his story would be fun to watch unfold as a Jet (on ESPN every two seconds), it would just be unfortunate to see him flame out like Vince Young/RG3 did when a little too much success seemed to go to their head. Watching him and hoping he doesn't fall apart would be interesting, even if I do think he's a "all about himself" player. He'll have a lot of prove for whatever team he lands on...likely Tampa.

Like to see the Jets sign Moore as a FA, then draft Winston. Would also be happy with Mariota, which I think has a good chance of happening.

Not crazy about the idea of trading a draft pick for a QB, but if it was reasonable would consider Bradford, or Foles. Still would draft Winston or Mariota

fitz or foles and i am a happy camper

How about both? That's what I'd like to see. Trouble is, the Texans have no one else unless they were to trade up in the fashion Philly is possibly thinking about.

If the Jets miss out on Winston/Mariota, I would certainly consider trading a 5th, even a 4th for Glennon, and still bring in a vet

If the Buc's take Winston why would they let Glennon go?? Why go looking for a backup if they already have one?? Once they cut McCown they have a need for Glennon..

Well, the post your quoting was written on the 9th I believe. Your right, things have changed since then on the Bucs. I'm sure things will continue to change around the league between now and the draft

Looks like Bradford is staying put in St. Louis.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000470580/article/st-louis-rams-sticking-with-sam-bradford

The most noteworthy bit of information to come out of the St. Louis Rams' introductory news conference for offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti on Friday was that the team wholly supports quarterback Sam Bradford.

Cignetti spent the past three years as Bradford's quarterback coach. Jeff Fisher said he consulted with the injured quarterback before the internal promotion. The head coach went so far as to say that if Bradford had any objections to Cignetti taking over:

"We wouldn't be sitting here right now," Fisher said, per the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

"As it should be," Cignetti chimed in.

If there was any doubt whether Bradford would be wearing a Rams helmet as the starter, Fisher was asked directly if he wanted the quarterback to return in 2015:

"That's correct, yes," Fisher said. "He's been in the building since the season ended. He's doing well."

Well, all right then. Let the "Sam Bradford 2015" banners fly!

Whether the lack of options on the open market and draft led Fisher to believe the signal-caller who missed 25 of his past 32 games was his best option remains a question.

The Rams' coach, however, backed off earlier comments that the team would bring in "competition" for Bradford. Instead Fisher used the word "options."

"It's not as much from the standpoint of challenging Sam," Fisher said. "It's to have options. We don't know what that looks like right now. We don't know if that's draft, if that's free agency, or what that looks like. But when we line up in September, we'll have somebody there."

Cignetti added Bradford is doing "great" in rehab from his second ACL injury.

The Rams still hope to restructure the 27-year-old's contract entering its final season -- he's set to make $12.985 million. Don't think Bradford's agent won't bring up Fisher's glowing comments every time those discussions take place.

Yeah, hard to say...this could be driving up his value in trade talks and used as leverage...or they feel as they say and he's staying...or this can be leveraged the other way in trying to come to a long term deal (i.e. publicaly saying we really want you and endorse Bradford as our franchise QB)...hard to take what they say at face value.

I know they'd save 13M by releasing him as he's owed 16.5M in 2015. But he comes off his rookie deal after this season.
