schaub i wanted before he went to the texans not sure he isn't done but fitz i would like.

I liked Schaub a lot but I want no part of him now.

I wasn't really impressed with Aboushi. The best thing I could say about him, was he was better then Winters.

Freeman on the other hand didn't miss a beat when Nick was hurt. Wonder if he can play guard?

He is a little undersized IMO but he is an excellent backup for Nick

I agree I give aboushi first chance he played well enough to deserve it. I also really liked what I saw from dalton freeman when mangold was injured.

I agree. I thought our run game was way better after inserting him. He just seemed like a bigger, stronger player to me. His pass blocking needs work, but he was better at it than Winters to me.

I say that to say this, he's a converted LT playing OG...there's a lot more work to be done there. But I saw a huge improvement in oline play when he was inserted, at least in the run game. I would redo the right side of our line before worrying about Aboushi.

I will admit upfront I have a bias when it-comes to height and weight at certain positions, I just do not want a 290 pound guard.
