The article was great. But was better was the highlight video of him hitting his tight end on two plays that were more than two yards. What a concept! Something we haven't seen around here for years. And if that guy wearing #5 is available, he might make a good WR to draft in a late round.

Made me look up Dax Milne (#5)

70-1188-8 last year and about 9 teams (not the Jets) had virtual meetings with him. Seems to be lacking NFL level speed but could learn to play on the slot. Maybe a day 3 draft prospect (like you said)

Good thing about him is that if he gets hurt, the symbiont can be transferred to another Trill (hopefully with more speed) and he won't need to relearn the playbook (100 points to anyone who gets that)

I gotta say that I’m impressed but I’m really not impressed. Now if he does this against NFL teams then I’ll be impressed. I just hope the Jets get this one right!!!

Isn't it true that anybody drafted high always looks good on college tape? The busts and the heroes? I'm tired of believing that some college kid who has never taken an NFL snap is going to walk on the field and immediately be our savior, or at least show that in his second year our prayers will be answered. I've given up on instant redemption for this team. Ask me in three years how we did next week....

Got it. It's a reference to Brady's receivers at New England, where every year or so Belichick released the previous Trill and transferred the symbiant to a new one. The former host was a husk at his new team while the new one ran the same unstoppable routes.
