Shell should be cut at 1/2 time he is terrible....
I don't think so, if he wasn't hurt bad he would be back on the sidelines watching the game. He never even came back to the sidelines and thats a bad sign.
Ordinarily I would think its nuts to cut a 4th RD Pick out of his first training camp, but Brandon Shell has been so awful, so atrocious, even verses other teams scrubs, that I wouldn't let him take up a roster spot. I see no upside with Shell. I see a fat piece of garbage who probably got Petty hurt badly tonight.
Petty may have a AC separation. Whatever that means. Not sure i trust the source

there is severity on Petty's injury but it is an injury that needs time to heal...
Taiwan Jones had a monster of a game and out played Julian Stanford was it enough to make the cut...
Jeremy Ross vs. Jalin Marshall << that roster competition stunk both were eh at best...
Right now tight end oh boy big decisions to make, Jace Amaro looks defeated... Kellen Davis probably only one worth keeping for his blocking ability but who else? Sudfeld, Bostick or long shot Saxton...
Offensive line was horrid tonight...
FB position like TE is another big question mark, CG's offense doesn't utilize a traditional FB so could Bohanon be gone?
The Jets should keep 4 RBs: Forte, BP, Khiry & Antone Smith...
Will be interesting on roster cuts in the next few days...

I was hoping Hack would get better with accuracy. He better make a complete turnaround by TC next year. You could put him on the PS and I guarantee nobody would want him.
I have to admit, its scary how inaccurate he is.
Honestly, I don't know if that level of inaccuracy can be fixed. I hope it can, but I don't know that it can.
That was alarming.
He looked like he never picked-up a football in his life.
I've seen H.S. QB's who are more accurate with their passes.
If you're asking me right now if Petty or Hack represents the future, I'm telling you to pray that Petty stays healthy.

Our second round string of garbage is currently intact. How do they scout this guy and not see how much of a project he was? He is not a second round QB, he is a guy you take in the the 6th. I hope he proves me wrong but Petty looked so much more promising than this guy (last year). Draft starting to look a little shaky. Shell is a cut, they may not cut him, but he is a cut player.
