LOL I don't know if I can call that progress because the past two weeks we've taken a step backwards in regards to the offense.
Progress would be Gase admitting that he is clueless and giving the reigns to the offense back to the OC who was doing a damn good job

Sam looks to have regressed from last year. He was awful last week and again today. His accuracy is way off.
Did the OC really call plays this year? I didn’t know gase relinquished the playcalls this season at all.
Not sure if Darnold regressed. He’s always been inconsistent and continues to be this year. He was great the last few weeks but the last two games he took a step back.
He's a tough one to judge. He had time last week and again today. Barely pressured and he was bad. It's like he plays better under duress, but not too much pressure. He was very slow getting the ball out also today
Gase never relinquished play calling. He was calling the plays vs the raiders, Giants, Redskins.

During his good games there were more rollouts and he used his legs lot more to run outside the locker and throw to his WR. That didn’t happen the last two weeks. Are defenses noticing he isn’t that great throwing within the pocket and containing him there?
Apparently it was reported that Darnold and the OC had more say and freedom the 3 weeks that the offense was rolling and Gase took back full control last week (so two more weeks of inept play calling and offense going backwards can easily be explained if that report was accurate).
Terrible. If that is the case then Gase needs to let go. Whatever he’s doing isn’t working.
I think you misunderstood the report.
Darnold met with Gase before the 3 game streak and told Gase what plays he was comfortable running,and which he was not comfortable with.
Gase removed plays from the playbook at that time. He was then and still is 100% calling plays.
No QB will make progress every week. Darnold has played 23 games and makes mistakes of a 22 year old QB. He has been inconsistent the last two weeks, but only one turnover. I admit he has a long way to go, but for some reason the Jet fans can't be patient. I mean its only been 50 fuckin' years since their last SB. I have no idea if Darnold becomes a SB champion, but I believe he has all the tools and with the right pieces and coaching he has the ability. I'm the least patient person in the world, but Darnold deserves our patience. He is a good kid with all the potential in the world. Let him grow and give him time for fucks sake.

Maybe his mommy can be on the sidelines with him during the games
What we say or think has nothing to do with how he plays.....or how long he stays.
But getting caught not holding his liquor or talking to ghosts just fuels the fire of laughter.
As far as tools the three stooges had all the tools but i would not hire them to wire my house.
That being said i hope he sobers up & puts the ghosts to bed

I agree, but you know ghosts..... you might get Jane Mansfield without her head instead.
