TE: Jenkins, Leggett, Parker

OT: Ijalana, Shell, Beachum
OG: Winters, Carpenter, Dozier
OC: Johnson, Harrison

Defense: 26

DE: Wilkerson, Richardson, Williams
DT: McClendon, Simon, Pennel

LB: J. Jenkins, Mauldin, Donahue, Lemonier, Martin
LB: Lee, Davis, Stanford, C. Harris

CB: Claiborne, Skrine, Burris, Williams, Coleman, Jones
SS: Adams, Maye, Miles, Middleton, S Thomas

Special Teams: 3

LS: Purdum
K: Martin
P: Edwards

Players in italic above have carved out a role on special teams among others but these guys have earned their roles... Of those, believe Rontez Miles could compete with the rookie Marcus Maye for the starting job across from Jamal Adams at safety... The others are all role players at best...

So who do you have making the final cut?

Don't know L. Thomas injury status if he will be ready to start the season on the active roster, just never know... I do think he has what it takes to make the roster but as of know, consider him not available...

We know Todd Bowles loves his safeties and one thing he has done is kept as many as 5 on the roster since he was hired here so dont be shocked if they do it again...

Right now roster bubble of my projected 53 are Shamarko Thomas who could steal Doug Middleton's job...
Josh Martin and Julian Stanford both seem to be sure bets to make the roster but both Connor Harris and Corey Lemonier could upend them...

As for fullback if Julian Howsare by now couldn't crack the roster, then the un drafted rookie looks to be a step ahead if we do keep one, Eric Tomlinson a blocking tight end could ruin that notion where he can lineup both on the line and in the backfield...

There are many what ifs at this point, injuries are another hurdle as of right now this is how I see it...

In his 3 games last year he might have been the best Jets defender in each game. Injury side tracked him. Unless he falls off a Cliff he's making this team. ... especially with Richardson all the more likely gone next year. The Jets coaching Staff and Front Office love him. He had a great camp and a great start to his career before the injury.... But I guess we

I know what he did last year, but as of now there is nothing new to report on his current stock... It will come out soon enough, but until then this is what I projected... This projection was pre training camp not the final mock projection...
