Quarterback situation as is now we have three, whether we re-sign Fitz or not this mock roster leaving him out...

This mock is a mock of who I think is likely to make the active 53 and not in anyway a depth chart of who may start, and so on...

So basically that is my 53 pending any injuries this is a competent roster with more athleticism and overall speed... Players like Catapano, Bishop, L. Thomas, D. Barnes, Keeton and Saxton are all wildcards but looks like they have potential to contribute now and wouldn't surprise me if they make the final cut...

I think you did an excellent job, and you can tell we have some impressive depth. This roster is light years better than 2 seasons ago.

I would be scared to see us leave our fgs up to a rookie, and cut a quality kicker like Folk

Qb The Jets will get a veteran Qb, ( If not Fitzpatrick than they will get another one before the season) . Geno Smith , Veteran Qb, and Hackenberg Petty will be cut, and theyI will try to sign him to the practice squad.

Te - Keller Davis - will make the roster for his blocking. Subtract Jason Vander Laan.

The Jets will carry nine offenseline man - subtract Kyle Friend.

Defense- Shelby Harris will make the Jets roster at expense of Thomas or Matungulu

Inside Lb - Taiwan Jones is heading for practice squad- Jets want to get faster at inside lb- coverage . Bruce Carter will be get one of those spots. Just the Darron Lee addition isn't enough - doesn't fix Coverage liability.

OLB Deion Barnes will make the roster ( makes up for the Friend subtraction on the .
Safety Middleton will make it at expense of Dion Bailey

This roster STINKS, pure and imple. This team will not make the playoffs and will have a losing record. How anyone could actually that the Jets roster is impressive or not lacking depth are posters that are purely delusional. When the Jets are garbage this season (and they will be) what will be all the people that are going to criticize me right now for what I am posting and later somehow spin things so that I a still wrong, but they were never wrong about the team. It's laughable and actually quite entertaining...

The Jets might have a losing record, the schedule they play this season is no joke. The rest of the AFC east has to play the same schedule minus a game or two. The Patriots are going to be with out their HOF QB for the 1st 4 weeks, so far. The Dolphins and the Bills aren't anymore power houses than the Jets are. A few bounces and a few breaks here and there and whose to say the Jets don't make the playoffs as AFC east champs. Just sayin'.

I see what you're saying, but it's still the patsies as the best in the division and the Jets along with all the other teams in the division as a bunch of crabs in a bucket. We'll suck be in a deead heat with the Dolphins and Bills. The patsies will still have a cake walk winning the division and hat ias unacceptable. Mac should have added a lot more talent to this team for this season. Instead, he screwed the pooch. The GM's job is to make the team better every year whilw weathering all of the team losses of players. Mac didn't do that. He failed in his job.
