RAS scores include Vitals
people who calculate don't understand that the slot receiver should be different tally than say a Drake London, George Pickens but they are biased. Testing like 40 and all drills also predict the scores. So when you fail at performing those tests kills your score evaluation.
end of the day there is an assumption of what each position should be in height, weight but in reality it is not the RAS score but the pro day and combine statistics that makes or breaks a player's stock which Wydermyer did to himself. It is their job interview and he failed to impress.
Jahan Dotson plays like he is 6'4", runs like he is a track star with three levels of speed. Route running precision and has shown ability to be versatile lineup in wildcat, punt return and end around runs.
I use the RAS score to see where a player ranks when it comes to his position but also rely on production and eye test testing. Some players excel everywhere some don't.
