Is there any way I can deactivate the notifications for likes, thanks and responses to my posts?

I thought I deactivated all of that stuff in my settings, but maybe I missed something?

Anyway the only notifications I want is to PM's and friend requests, can I deactivate all other notifications?

Yes you should be above to deactivate them by going into settings on the top right and turning them off. You may have to do it one by one however. Which ones are you are still getting so I can direct you exactly to the right place?

Yeah I already deactivate that, I went into settings and deactivated just about everything exactly PM's and PM notifications, so I'm surprised I'm getting notified for likes and thank you posts, I thought those were already deactivated, but where specifically can I deactivate those?

UC, I just want back to settings and deactivated them one at a time, so lets see how this works.

If its still a problem I'll let you know, but lets give this a test and hopefully "one at a time" did the trick.

i liked this post let me know if you got a notification. If you did maybe it is because i am a administrator not sure if likes/dislikes are different for a admin and a mbr. let me know.

Yeah I did get the notification alert and thats what I'm trying to deactivate.

Lets see if its only because you're an admin, I'll let you know if I get them from non admins/mods.

Nah I'm still getting the thanks/likes alerts, just got two from sg3, I'm also getting the "quote" notifications.

go to settings again scroll all the way down you will see a box that says activity and in that box first thing is settings click on it.

don't think that takes care of the like/thanks notifications. I emailed the developers of the program and waiting to hear back from them. In the mean time, I have disabled these notifications until I hear back.

I personally just ignored these notifications but I guess I was lazy. It's good to find out how to disable in case others have these questions.

Admin, don't forget "quotes" ... its likes/thanks/quotes that are all receiving notifications.

the quotes are easy to take off.

click settings at the top near the log off button,

scroll down and on the left find the menu labeled "user tagging"

then click "settings"

From there you will be able to fix certain alerts. check the box that says "hide quotes"

I just deactivated all of them, thanks for the heads up.
