Question for the Insiders

how is Sam Darnold's status with NFL players ? I know some GM still believe that he can reach his potential with proper coaching and better talent . Ultimately thou, players especially offensive players will make they decision about the Jet's offers based on who the QB will be .
How badly does Darnold need his offensive teammates to support him right now verbally in the media.

As Yogi Berra once said "half of baseball is 90% mental".
I think a quarterback is expected to be the leader of the team, both on and off the field, both physically and emotionally. If he feels he doesn't have the support of his teammates, I believe it diminishes his ability to become that leader. Their silence would speak louder than their words.
