R.I.P. Dwayne Haskins dies after being hit by car

Dwayne Haskins was training in South Florida with other Steelers QBs, RBs and WRs. He was killed this morning in South Florida when he got hit by a vehicle. Haskins was 24 years old.

As do we all . Sadly a young man has departed this world leaving a young family without their head. for him and for his grieving family. May he Rest In Peace and may his family be comforted in this sorrowful time .

According to the Miami Herald, the incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on I-595 between Interstate 95 north and south. Per the paper, a 24-year-old pedestrian was hit by a dump truck. An official police report is not yet available.

Haskins was apparently driving in his car on I-595 and stopped his vehicle to get out when he was struck.

He was trying to cross a superhighway. If his car broke down, didn't he have a cell phone to call for assistance?

An hour or so after it was reported. Stories flew! It sounded as he was afoot, then near the airport, then he was driving.
All in all, it was a sad, sad, tragedy.
Wonderful tributes and a wonderful legacy to a young man who left us too soon!
