in the early 2000's in times square i ran into a cluster of young women all who were 6'0"+.. figured it had to be a basketball team & sure enough it was..
i then see a face i immediately recognized.. i said something like, "who are you playing this weekend coach??" we engaged in the briefest of conversation (native NYers are to cool to tie up celebrities for long) which i don't remember much if anything of.. but what has always stuck with me was what a warm & charming women she was..
