Raiders released Clive Walford

The Raiders released TE Clive Walford earlier today.
Should the Jets attempt to sign him?
I know some here are concerned about the TE position so I wanted to see your opinions.

He was pretty good in 2016 but his production was way down last season which might not have been all his fault. He had only 9 or 10 catches in a dozen games I think. He went out on injured reserve with a concussion in November or December. He's 26 or 27 years old. It's hard to say what his future play would be like. The price could be low enough to give him a shot.

Never heard of him. But if he’s a productive TE, that gives us something we need. A productive TE.
