This draft was utterly a total disaster outside Quincy Enunwa which he got lucky with that selection but still this draft set back the Jets franchise in reverse for almost five years to recover. Justifying taking a Texas Tech Red Raider tight end because he was in a high powered offense that it would translate into production at this level was complete nonsense.

Louisville Slugger was his nickname but in reality he is was Mr. Strikeout someone that missed his target repeatedly launching himself towards them instead of securing the tackle with wrap ups.

McDougle was another mystery pick he had promise but was considered a 5th round prospect but we took him in the third round. All 4th round picks were taken in front of talent that made sense but we chose to go and try to sell the others as best fit options that did not even make it out of their rookie contracts.

Dozier became an NFL lineman after he left the Jets. Must of been coaching.

Remembering the nightmare, sorry!

Idzik was an accountant. Nothing more that is why he dealt Revis, did not want to entertain sitting down to extend him.
He was something alright. 12 picks and we got a snippet out of the entire draft with a 6th round pick . Oh lord my head hurts just thinking about it .

all those players had talent but the coaching staff had no clue on how to deploy them. the talent to the game plan had holes. the coaching staff was just as clueless as the GM. the worst decision was trading Revis because he did not have the stomach or patience to work out an extension.

I actually blame that entire draft on Ryan

In the NFL, it never takes 5 years to recover...unless you're making bad decisions going forward. 😳
