NFL Network’s Mike Garofolo reports a felony charge against Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson from a 2017 arrest will be dropped by prosecutors in Florida.
Ed O’Donnell told Garafolo the charge against his client will be formally dropped in the coming days. Anderson was originally charged with felony resisting arrest with violence after being arrested on May 7, 2017, in Miami. Police accused Anderson of pushing an officer after he got into a fight with security at an event in Miami.

Anderson is still facing a misdemeanor count of reckless driving in connection to his Jan. 19 arrest in Sunrise, Florida. He was initially facing multiple felony charges stemming from that incident before prosecutors dropped most of the counts against him.
Obviously, this is a positive development for Anderson and the Jets. We now await the outcome of the other case.

Hard to prosecute when the arresting officer is again suspended for filing false reports and brutality.
Let's hope Robby takes a serious life lesson from all this and matures.
Some times you just have to shut up and take shit. Ortiz is a bad cop and Robby was fortunate to just been a victim of false arrest. Many have been less fortunate in run ins with Ortiz.

Learned his lesson? You know he has done this crap many times. Just completely stupid to risk killing others driving like that & just as stupid risking losing millions playing football. Maybe he rather work construction his whole life? Maybe he thinks its easier than football? Football not even close to work or danger of construction every day. Hope he grows up & realize he can make millions playing a fricken game he loves to play. I hope this was his last chance by Jets.

New York Jets wide receiver Robby Anderson pleaded no contest to misdemeanor charges of reckless driving on Wednesday, NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reported, according to Anderson's attorney.

Anderson gets six months of non-reporting probation, per Garafolo.

Lets hope this is the end of Anderson's legal issues and he continues to build on last year's on field performance.
