The New York Jets are interested in re-signing linebacker and special teams fixture Josh Martin to a new deal soon, according to a report from ESPN’s Rich Cimini on Tuesday.

Martin is expected to hit the free agency market when the league year begins.
The 25 year old originally joined the organization’s practice squad late in the 2015 season.
Martin appeared in 15 games this past season, and led the team with 14 special teams tackles, adding eight additional combined tackles on defense to go with a half-sack.
