In the middle of all the hacking/attempt to fix this site, we've learned some really sad news that didn't make it back when I had to restore the data.

Cy passed away recently. My condolences go out to him and his family. For the little time that I know him, he seemed like a great guy that loved football.

RIP Cy.

Hope the Jets win the big one for you.

Indeed he will be missed, he had a history of heart issues. Cy my friend, I know your looking down on us and the Jet Brothers and sisters... RIP and we will see you some day in glory. your bud, soj/steve

Always a gentleman, argued his point fairly and was never failing in his passion for the Jets.

This is terrible . Cy was a real sweetheart. I enjoyed his posts and interacting with him through the years. I'm so sad to learn this. I wish we could of won one sometime in the last few yrs so he could of seen a SB win recently. RIP my friend , you will be missed .

Myself as well. I started posting on the Scout board in 04/05. I have been posting along Cy for 10 yrs, and he became a familiar part of my board experience. The boards won't be the same without him.
