I'll accept that move if he takes a huge paycut. Stars like Revis have ego issues so I have a feeling he'll try hard to become the best safety that he can be.

I hope he knows that safety requires an ability to stick your nose in there and actually tackle people. And it's also the last line of defense, meaning you cannot let people run past you.

I'm not confident Revis can thrive in either situation.

I heard an interview with Mehta of Daily News who said Bowles wanted him back for 2017. So they may be planning a switch to safety. Of course Mac will have to re-work the contract.

Revis will not re work his contract. Never has. Cut him now. He lost his fire and worse he is not even a decent football player.
