I haven't always agreed with your point of view on Geno because I wanted to see how it would all play out. This incident was his fault and I believe he received some instant Karma.

Him being hurt is not what I'm happy about. Him opening his mouth like an idiot and getting popped is what I'm happy about. It opened my eyes to what Geno Smith is and now the organization is better for it and we can move on.

But once he does that, it may have even a more negative impact on Smith. He's better off leaving it alone, and if the league wants to step in so be it. At the end of the day, if he did in fact provoke IK then he looks like a crybaby for getting punched out. I'm not condoning IK's actions, but if you think Geno is getting a bad shake by the media now, just wait if he presses charges.

I know.

That's why I want him to press charges.

I guess we will have to wait until after the surgery and jaw unwiring to hear Smith's apology and remorse for his part in the stupid altercation between sixth graders.

Roger I'm not so sure it will go well for Smith if he presses charges. If the witness quotes are accurate, he committed an assault on IK before he got punched.

If he would have issued a written apology to teammates and fans, I would have had some respect for him. As of now, I have zero.

Sheldon Richardson is probably thinking, maybe its not such a bad idea to get arrested again or fail another test, then the Jets will release me and I get to go play for Rex who couldn't care less about how I live my life and will pay me regardless.

Funny but a similar thought went through my head after reading his comments on why Rex signed IK... didn't take it as far as you did though I appreciate the humor in a bad situation.

ENEMKPALI'S DEBUT

Linebacker Ikemefuna Enemkpali made his Bills' debut three days after being released by the Jets for a sucker punch that broke the jaw of starting quarterback Geno Smith. Buffalo claimed Enemkpali off waivers on Wednesday, and he entered the game with the second stringers.

He finished with two tackles, including one for a loss. Enemkpali was also penalized for being offside on a Panthers' drive that ended with Graham Gano hitting a 47-yard field goal with 1 second left in the first half.

Why should he apologize to the deadbeat who failed to pay a legit debt for a month and, when asked about it, charged across the locker room, assaulted him and got his Jet career terminated

I'm glad he got another chance with the Bills. Hopefully the instigator of this childish altercation will also get another chance in the league after the Jets cut him
