Rex needs to back off! I like Rex but with this current roster he couldnt do much better. Rex was lucky that the GM that hired him and got him everything to start with in free agency. Got a great RB from Bears also CBs and WRs and great Center. This Jets not close built as Rex got handed in first 2 seasons. Next year I expect GM to help his Coach to show his and his coaches talents. Change culture like Rex did telling teams ever shot at our guys and we will do 2 right back. Like Pats did against Zach. Pats would have Never done that to a Rex Ryan team because Rex would make it a point to injure 2 of Pats top Players. Hence why Belicheck made sure his players stayed in line and never cheap shot Jets. Respect by Belicheck to Rex.

I will say this for Rex...he can truly "un-remember" with the best of them.
had his vaunted Defense gotten off of the field with a 3 & out against ATL, JAX, BUFF, and MIA in 2009, we win 13 games that year. a 3 & out in each gives us victory formation with no timeouts.

he never had that pass rusher each team needs
no doubt about that. Had he had a stellar OLB or Edge as they say, he wouldn't have had to sell out coverage for pressure. we might even have a Super Bowl Victory.
He did prove just how good he could be when we went to Indy and Nang-land and tore a hole in their @$$es by rushing 3, 2 backers and 6 DBs.

No way the defense would be this bad if Rex was the HC. This D is historically awful and may set a new standard of suckiness.

I will say this, JETS GM better get some Draft picks to help and then go out and Buy a top Vet Center and buy 2 good WR then buy 1 top CB and Draft another RB that used to be called a Full Back. Also Draft 2 top Pass Rushers and 2 Mean big O Linemen. So that BUY 1 Center-2 WRs- 1 CB ALL TOP 5 IN NFL at position. Then Trade back top pick staying in 10 and Draft a Pass Rushing beast and then Draft meanest O Lineman on board. Then go Draft another Pass Rushing beast. Then Draft biggest RB with power and if you can't do that like last year....Go Buy the Browns 2 RB schemes because being a Dumb ass.
Reason is Jets don't have time to Frack around 4 years behind everyone in East. It's already so shamefully to even wear Jets gear with every Pat's and Bill's fans laughing at every Jets fan calling us names. I'm getting tired of this crazy.
