He remains a free agent. Does anyone take a chance on him this year? My guess would be no he was on the decline and no one will be rushing to sign him. On the other hand, Adrian Peterson will no doubt have people on his door step trying to acquire him. He's not a FA but people believe that the Vikings will seek to trade him. There's already a rumor out there that Jerry Jones and the cowboys will look on adding him to the team on the cheap since DeMarco Murray may not resign.

The Ravens have reached a settlement with former running back Ray Rice regarding his grievance for wrongful termination, the team announced Friday.

"The Ravens agreed to resolve the grievance with Ray Rice," team president Dick Cass said in a statement. "It's time to turn the page, and we're moving forward. We wish Janay and Ray Rice the best."

Rice reportedly filed a grievance for $3.529 million after being released by the team. The Ravens did not disclose the amount of the agreed-upon settlement in Friday's announcement. Rice, who did not play in 2014, remains a free agent

I agree. He is on the decline, nobody is going to be the one to rush out and sign him, but he will be a some one's roster opening day

Ray Rice awarded $1.588 million in wrongful termination settlement

In January, former Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice settled a wrongful termination suit brought on by the NFLPA, with the numbers undisclosed. Ultimately, Rice was awarded $1.588 in the settlement, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. Rice was seeking his 2014 base salary of $3.529 million.

In Feb. 2014, Rice struck his then-fiancee Janay Palmer in a hotel elevator in Atlantic City. The incident resulted in Rice being charged with aggravated assault charges, one day before the duo were married. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell handed out a two-game suspension in July. In September, TMZ released a second video of security footage, showing Rice brutally punching Palmer with his right hand, knocking her unconscious. The NFL immediately moved to suspend Rice indefinitely with the Ravens releasing him the same day.

Following the wrongful termination suit being settled, the Ravens released a short statement on the matter, per the Baltimore Sun:

"The Ravens agreed to resolve the grievance with Ray Rice. It’s time to turn the page, and we’re moving forward. ... We wish Janay and Ray Rice the best."

Rice remains a free agent after the league reinstated him when he won an appeal in court in late November.

RBs have a short shelf life as it is, and for him to miss basically a year, it would be tough for him to make a substantive comeback.
