Rift in New England? Belidick and Brady at odds

ESPN.com is reportedly preparing to publish a piece by Seth Wickersham on Friday that will detail a rift between New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick.

According to Boston Sports Media Watch's Bruce Allen, the article focuses on "a power struggle among the trio as to who deserves the most credit for the dynasty."

Allen added the article claims "the rift is so severe many Patriots feel this is the last year together for the trio" and that Brady "went to Kraft to force Belichick to trade" Jimmy Garoppolo.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio confirmed a story will be published Friday but cited a source who said "the ESPN report will not contend that Brady tried to force a trade."
There have been rumblings of discord between Brady and Belichick throughout the 2017 season stemming from Belichick's decision to ban Brady's trainer and business partner, Alex Guerrero, from boarding the team plane or standing on the sideline, per the Boston Globe's Bob Hohler. Guerrero is also reportedly no longer allowed to work with Patriots players other than Brady.

According to Hohler, those decisions have "created some friction in Foxborough."

Belichick has since declined to address the details of the report.

"Yeah, this is another one with no sources, right? Yup," Belichick said, per NESN's Doug Kyed. "I'm not gonna get into that. Yeah, because (the sources are) not mentioned."

The Patriots, who clinched the AFC's No. 1 seed after going 13-3, are aiming to repeat as Super Bowl champions and capture the franchise's sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy with Brady and Belichick at the helm.

rats! you beat me to it. there are a bunch of stories about this today. just google it. It makes total sense. 2 arrogant bastards together for so long. each has to figure they are the reason for the success. Imagine if we actually get to find out which one is. Kraft, if the story is true, has sided with brady. that means if someone left it would be belichick. If he did leave he would certainly take his video library of other teams plays with him. Maybe he would even want to come back to the Jets as the ultimate way to give Kraft the finger. How funny would that be? We could become the Cheaters and win the next 20 superbowls.(with an * of course)

either way, things will be different next season because they should lose both coordinators. Of course that has happened before when Weiss and Crennel left and it only slowed them a little

there has been no hope for anyone else in the NFL to win a Super Bowl for a long time. This gives me hope. It's probably not true anyway, but something has to give us hope

"hard to imagine brady or the cheatahs needing to cheat"? They may not need too but they have been doing it for near 20 years. Buy yourself an NFL films sweatshirt , a drone, a video camera, and get yourself a good alias and you can get yourself a nice job for them

My neighbor played in the NFL(only 1 season and got hurt) and at BC. His son played at BC too but like 3rd or 4th string , but his son got married last year and at the wedding they said that his best man had an internship with the cheatahs. I asked if he was one of the guys who videotaped the other teams signals. HAHAHAHA

Hey, I'm sure those refs cost him more than most players on the team. That's why players are asked to take a large payout when they become a cheetah. watch how cheap Wilkerson is asked to play for in a month. His offer will go down depending on how many calls Kraft has to have changed in the playoffs
