Best Mets player ever from St. Croix, but overshadowed by coming from the same place as the great Horace Clarke

I was a young Yankee fan in '64. Of course I recall Horace Clarke (choking up on the bat), but do not remember Joe Christopher. Sending condolences to Christopher's family and fans.

BTW, I just saw this morning that Tim Wakefield passed a few days ago. Damn, only 57 years-old. RIP.
