Robbie Anderson .... has a way to go before he is a No. 1 receiver

Respectfully disagree, I think we have 3 potential #2s from Stewart, Anderson and Hansen. Each guy brings something a little different, but contributory nonetheless. Stewart looks like a player who will be around for quite awhile, be a team leader and a very effective clutch receiver. Anderson will be a complimentary guy who will garner a lot of attention for his game breaking ability. Hansen is still a bit of a mystery, but could very well be a young Eric Decker type of WR.

I think that this might be that his knee injury from TCamp has slowed him down, and now that they have picked up both Kearse and Kerley there is no reason to rush him back. Thought that Peake got injured in Fins game, so maybe we will see him this week.

I hope you are right as i am all for it. I have been spoiled with Maynard, Fitz, Boldin, Sauer. Walker & jackie Smith & wayne. so i need to see a little more ....Johnny lamb Jones had a few bombs until he turned into one himself. But as of today I don't see it. but if they don't make it ...it does have a good ring to it as a law firm.

Boy Jerry G was some catcher for the mets.

Disagree. I agree with you that there are no number 1 WR's in this group. A lot of role players, all with good to better than average hands. I think there are clear number 2 bonafide starting WR's in this current group. They are not there right now, but as time goes they are going to show themselves.

My biggest worry with Robbie Anderson is his frame? I would really love to see this kid put on about 20 pounds of muscle so he can better protect himself. I keep thinking he's going to get thumped one of these days by an unseen Safety and because he's damn near skin and bones his injury is going to be a lot worse than it should have been?

You don't necessarily need a true #1 WR to have a strong passing offense provided there are a number of good complimentary options at WR, TE and RB. So if these guys develop into "#2s", and ASJ, Leggett or someone else is a good option at TE, with Powell and McGuire at RB, then the offense should be ok. Having said all that, it all starts up front so unless the OL is solid none of this really matters.

Brandon Shell is really coming on the way I see it? I think he's done a quite admirable job over the last two weeks facing top notch competition? Khalil Mack and Cameron Wake? Talk about a murderer's row of opposition? Sure, he's been torched at times, but no one could have expected Shell to totally shut them down right?

Happy with Shell, as he appears to be a mainstay on the right side for the next several years at least.
