Everytime they throw him the ball with a defender within 3 yards of him he cannot come up with the catch. Anything slightly contested and it's drop.
Then he has the balls to throw his helmet disgust for apparently not getting the ball throw to him.

he seems to be in slow motion, when he is not the hot read... his immaturity is a problem as well, with that late unsportsmanlike conduct penalty... it may be frustrating for him, but he needs to be a professional not a distraction... as for his production it could be better if we had a competent signal caller that is make proper throws rather than lame duck ones...

He's not catching the ball because he's too frail. He needs more muscle mass. If the Jets would just put him on a muscle building program, he would become a better WR.......

Especially Hansen? We've already seen plenty of Stewart. We know this guy can play and be a contributor on ST. We already know he has a unique talent that is slightly versatile. But Hansen? What do we know about him? Just that he can catch the ball? Because we saw him do it in a very limited snaps in preseason games? In other words, we know NOTHING about him.

Just the same, I liked what I saw from him. I think he should have been utilized heavy already. ALL of these WR's bring a unique ability to the table. Robbie Anderson is a good player, no doubt. But IMO, he's not a polished product. He needs more time.

If this season is about finding out what we have on this team, we should be using Chad Hansen. Jordan Leggett has been injured. he needs to get off the DL so we can see what we have in him...........

I think Leggett has been full participation in practices, but not active on game day? I think his blocking has been the issue because he can clearly catch the ball.

I have ZERO tolerance for this and neither should the CS staff. He should be given an ultimatum immediately. If you ever commit a fucking stupid penalty like that again, you'll sit out the next game. I am so sick and tired of all of the penalties this team commits. I am equally pissed that Toilet seems to take it in stride. He should be chewing the players asses for this. How many games do these double digit penalties need to happen before someone starts them run wind sprints when they keep making the same stupid mistakes?

Throwing the helmet, even though it positively did not effect the outcome of the game, was an immature and unprofessional thing to do. I understand the frustration here but self control is a must for a quality player and he needs to address this himself and the coaching staff has to do the same. These kinds of penalties are game killers most always. I believe that he has good potential and will be a vital part of this team when our quarterback play reaches a much higher level. The guy is a speed demon and his catching will improve with time I think. I'm inclined to blame McCown's inconsistent accuracy for some of the missed catches. I'm not saying he will become our number one but I do believe he will be a big contributor down the line as a deep threat.

there is a fine line between being a Diva and letting the emotions of wanting to win get the best of you. I can't recall Anderson doing anything else to say he is becoming a diva. What I did see was a young player frustrated in a situation where his team was now gonna most likely lose the game...I am ok with that passion from a young player. But it is also something you don't want to see happen if it could cost the game. So luckily it happened in a moment where the CS can use it at as a teaching moment. Hopefully Anderson can get his emotions under control and learn he can't do that shit again.

Today was the best catch of his young career. He caught it over two defenders. He's still young and is continuing to learn to fight for the ball.

He is getting a bit divaish but I can live with that if he keeps performing

After thinking about that for a while, I'm saying "GOOD FOR HIM". Keith Hernandez would call that an "error of enthusiasm". When was the last time the Jets had a skill position offensive player that the other team actually had to game plan against? He's playing like an All-Pro and his performance could get lost among all the shrapnel of the Jets season. So, let him toot his own horn.
He deserves it.

And, in case anyone didn't notice, his best moments last year were when Petty was throwing to him. Just saying.
