I wouldn't know. The only LZ song I liked was Stairway to Heaven. And, like Joe Beningo, I don't want to get on that stairway until the Jets win another Super Bowl.

Any smart coach will back the qb that they tied themselves to when they got hired. After the season if the GM decides or gets an offer he can not refuse they will pull the trigger. As for people saying the loss of Knapp was the reason for Zach's failure it has nothing to do with his ego. Not a rich kid mentality but never had to want for anything. Went to school close to home never learned what it means to be independent. His favorite player is a guy he wishes to be like, but does not understand the journey it takes to accomplish those feats. He is an arrogant self absorbed kid that can not be told how to play the position, since he was taken number two overall and was handed the keys the team failed him from jump street not bringing in a veteran until after he spent most of the off season celebrating his new found fame.

I don't agree with his take that JD doesn't need to be more professional either! Fan made a comment about a player being a bust, and the GM escalates that to a violent reaction???

I agree, he should keep his cool, but he had just witnessed the team he built lose back to back home games to 2 bottom dwellers who have been almost equally as inept as us for a long time as well
I wanted to rip someone apart like a pretzel after those games too. I was done at 10-3 as were the jets

If this team was struggling like last year then maybe they could get away with this but it is now unexceptable. This team is ready now and they have to go with MW or someone just as good or better or they will lose all faith in this fan base and maybe even ownership. They’re smart and will make the right decision. All this talk now has to be just being politically correct!
I wonder if Joe D will suffer any backlash for that incident from either the team or the league.
