Low hanging fruit. The Jets traded for Flacco to replace Wilson due to injury. He wasn’t ready that first game and White played out of his mind . After that Bengals game Mike White deserved another start which he got but couldn’t finish due to injury which again guaranteed him another start . After his performance in his last start, the Jets could no longer justify having Flacco on the roster if he wasn’t starting.
Starting Flacco is more about justifying the trade than giving up on White .
